About the course

The Coach Awards look at the Who, How, What and Where of Coaching Paddlesport with the training split into 2 parts:

The Core Coach is a 2-day multi-discipline training. With classroom and practical water-based session it focuses on:

  • Who are we coaching, identifying learner needs and how we can tailor our delivery to them.

  • How do we coach, introducing a wide range of coaching models, delivery styles and decision making to support our learners.

This is followed this 2-day Discipline Specific Training Modules that focus on:

  • What are the specific skills and techniques our learners will need.
